The side picture shows an urban area being created in GPS
TrackMaker®, with streets, avenues, rivers, big buildings, etc. As soon as
the map is finished, it is saved in gtm format for future edition.

Vectorial Background Maps - Some characteristics:
- Open very fast on screen.
- The maps are automatically loaded when the program is opened.
- The maps consume much less memory if compared with raster images.
- The maps are totally independent and don't use reserved memory for Tracklogs, Routes and Waypoints.
- The maps are loaded on demand. Only the maps shown on screen are loaded on memory.
- Automatic labeling: names of streets, avenues, buildings, rivers, lakes and other elements are automatically shown.
- Multiples projects of maps can be registered.
- GPS TrackMaker® Free is able to create MAP files.
- GTM PRO® is able to create MAP files and complete projects of maps
with extension PJC

In the side picture, an UTM 1:50,000 chart was scanned to GIF format and inserted in GPS TrackMaker®.
After the map calibration, the tracklog of a local highway was shown exactly
on the highway of the map.

Full Integration with Google Earth®:
- Allows to import and export KML files with support for images, Tracklogs, Routes and Waypoints.
- Sends selected Tracklogs, Routes, Waypoints and Images to Google Earth®.
- In Real-Time Navigation, allows to see the current position in Google Earth®.
- Click on any image and choose the option View 3D in Google Earth.
